Situated on the outskirts of Alnwick, Hulne Park is a part of Northumberland Estates, owned and managed by the Percy family. While the estate is private, the public do have access for most of the year. However, there are some restrictions (including the banning of dogs) and there are dates when the estate is closed. More details can be found here and it’s worth checking before you make a journey.

There are some good walking routes around the esate taking in both woodland and riverside views. You can also visit the remains of Hulne Priory along the route or divert to the Brizlee Tower. Both are worth a look.
