Floors Castle
Floors Castle, designed by William Playfair, is the seat of the Duke of Roxburgh. Tours of the house (photography not permitted) are available at certain points in the year while the grounds are generally open all year around. (It does host a number of events that shut the grounds, so it’s worth checking ahead).
Thje grounds offer excellent views, while the formal garden is also worth a look. If you’re in the area during February then the snowdrops put on a good display.
