Dunbar

I hadn’t intended to venture this far north with this blog, but Dunbar is too close and too good a location to miss. From a photography perspective, the most notable location is the Bridge to Nowhere at Belhaven Bay. Be warned, the bridge not only needs a high tide, but it also needs a very high tide height to work. It’s also a busy spot, particularly during school holidays, so images of the bay can quickly get cluttered.

I’d also suggest not missing Dunbar itself. The harbour, in particular, has plenty of interest and is worth a look. Finally, on the outskirts you have Barns Ness and the lighthouse. There’s also a walk down the coast towards Torness. I’m sure there are images of the power station and cement works to be had!
