St Abb’s Head

 

The St Abb’s Head Nature Reserve is one of my favourite locations in the area. Indeed, we first stumbled upon it well before our move to Berwick and are delighted that it’s now only about 20 minutes outside of town. While the village and harbour are well worth exploring, the walk around the head is the standout attraction. There’s a good description of the route on Walkhighlands.

Coldingham

I’ve also included Coldingham here as it’s not far from St Abbs (very walkable). The beach is very picturesque and is popular with the cold swimming crowd and tourists alike. It’s also a popular spot for those with an interest in intentional camera movement (ICM). This is my first attempt…
